UK weather maps show the exact date in November when Brits could enjoy an Indian Summer with temperatures reaching as high as 17C in some parts of the country
Brits could be in for a treat with a warm spell on the horizon this November, despite winter’s imminent arrival.
The latest UK weather maps reveal the exact date when temperatures are set to rise, with one region of England potentially basking in a balmy 17C on Wednesday, according to Netweather. Londoners can look forward to a pleasant 17C, while much of the south east will enjoy temperatures ranging between 15C and 16C.
Meanwhile, the Midlands, Cornwall and Devon are expected to see average temperatures hovering between 13C and 14C. Heading further north, temperatures should also remain between 13C and 15C, although Scotland will experience cooler condition.

Southern Scotland is predicted to reach highs of 13C, while the Scottish Highlands may see lows of 7C in certain areas, reports the Express. Over in Northern Ireland, temperatures are forecasted to sit between 10C and 11C, while Wales is slightly warmer at 13C-14C.
However, the Met Office’s forecast for next week predicts unsettled weather with rain on Monday and Tuesday, followed by strong winds in the west. Looking ahead to the period from November 7 to November 16, the Met Office anticipates that changeable and occasionally unsettled weather will persist.
Its forecast states: “Changeable and at times unsettled weather is likely to continue into the start of this period, with low pressure dominating the UK. This means further showers or longer spells of rain at times.
“All parts could see some heavy rain, but it is likely that western areas will be wettest. Strong winds are likely at times, with gales possible in the west. Equally there should also be some drier or clearer interludes, these more prevalent further east.
“A transition to a less unsettled pattern becomes increasingly probable from around the 9th or 10th of the month, making drier interludes increasingly common. Temperatures most likely to be around average, particularly at first, and probably overall. Should it become more settled, the chance of overnight frosts would increase”
The second half of November could also bring a mix of rain, showers and stronger winds, according to the Met Office. The long-range forecast from November 17 to December 1 says: “A greater chance of periods of high pressure bringing more in the way of dry weather, compared to the current weather pattern, which also increases the chances of overnight fog and frost.
“There will most likely however still be periods of rain, showers, and stronger winds, especially in the west. Weather patterns are very uncertain during late November. Overall, near or above average temperatures are most likely though some colder spells are possible, especially should any prolonged settled spells develop.”
