The convenience store chain has pulled its Co-op 4 Mini Pork and Pickle Pies because they contain milk which is not mentioned on the label

Co-op has recalled a batch of its own brand pork pies over fears they could cause allergic reactions.

The convenience store chain has pulled its Co-op 4 Mini Pork and Pickle Pies because they contain milk which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to milk.

The batch of pork pies that are affected by the recall come in a pack size of 200g and have use by dates of August 13, 14 and 16, 2025. If you have an allergy to milk, you should return the product to your nearest Co-op for a full refund.

Co-op said in a recall notice published online: “Please return the products to your nearest Co-op store for a refund, or if you are self-isolating or shielding please contact our Customer Careline.” It comes after reports DWP state pensioners are set to be given ‘extra £352’ completely free.
