Two people have been seriously injured following a reported stabbed at a skate park.
Northamptonshire Police said they received reports at about 3.45pm today that two people had been stabbed after an altercation at the Briar Hill Skate Park in Northampton.
A police cordon is in place while officers carry out enquiries, and the park will remain closed to the public until further notice.
Several roads are also affected by the incident. Members of the public are being urged to avoid the area where possible. There will be an increased police presence in the area to provide reassurance and support to the community. Anyone with concerns is encouraged to speak to officers.

The force is appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, including CCTV, doorbell or mobile phone footage, to come forward.
