Two drivers have died in a crash involving four vehicles.
The fatal crash took place at Yanley on the A370 Long Ashton bypass in Somerset at around 7.30pm on Saturday.
Part of the main A370 road linking Bristol to Weston-super-Mare was closed overnight and remained closed on Sunday morning while Avon and Somerset Police carried out an investigation, Somerset Live reports.
The road was closed between the roundabout junction with Colliters Way, the A4174 South Bristol Link Road, on the edge of Bristol, and the B3130 turn-off for Nailsea at Flax Bourton. It reopened this afternoon.

A spokesperson for the force said an investigation has been launched into the fatal collision. “Despite the efforts of emergency personnel on the scene, the drivers of both cars sadly died,” the spokesperson said.
“Both families have been informed and our thoughts are with them during this time. Two specialist family liaison officers are offering their support to both families. Two further vehicles were involved in the collision, but thankfully no-one was serious hurt.”
Avon and Somerset Police is appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time or witnessed the incident to come forward. Witnesses are asked to call 101, quoting reference number 5226064142, or complete an online appeal form.
