More than 20,000 sprays have been bought in the past month on Amazon

Claudia Winkleman’s hair stylist, Amy Short, has revealed her go-to products for the TV presenter, who is known for hosting The Traitors TV series. Now, shoppers can now grab the exact same products at Amazon and Cult Beauty.

Amy Short said to The Independent: “[My] go-to products for Claude’s hair are Color Wow Dream Coat, Color Wow Pop & Lock and Davines Shimmer Spray.” Two of these products have 20% off in Amazon’s new deals and will leave shoppers’ hair shiny and fresh.

First up is the Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray that has been dropped to £21.60 from £27 at Amazon. More than 20,000 have been bought in the past month, the site says, and it is an Amazon’s Choice product.

This product comes in a 200ml bottle and is described as an ‘invisible cloak with magical, moisture-resistant powers that lasts three days straight’. Ideal for making hair less frizzy, it also ‘envelops hair in an invisible anti-humidity, anti-static shield’, Amazon says.

For best use, the brand suggests to shampoo, condition and towel dry as usual, and then divide the hair into sections before spraying each section evenly on damp hair. No other styling products should be applied until after blow drying. Shoppers should use the product every three to four shampoos, the site says.

The spray is said to be ideal for reducing frizz and boosting shine in hair

Then there is the Color Wow Pop & Lock Anti-Frizz Hair Serum for £18, down from £22.50, at Amazon. This one is said to be a ‘lightweight gloss serum’ for hair that locks in colour vibrancy and ‘seals moisture into the cuticle’, with the aim to reduce frizz and leave hair smooth and hydrated.

Lastly, to get the full Winkelman look, there’s the Davines Shimmering Mist, now priced at £22.75 at Cult Beauty. This final step product is a lightweight mist that leaves hair and ends looking glossy and sleek. It comes in a spray bottle and can be distributed easily with little-to-no fuss.

For some alternatives, there is a range of other products to choose from, including the Noughty To The Rescue Anti Frizz Serum 75ml for £9.99 from LookFantastic. This is a smoothing serum to remove frizz, flyaways and split ends, according to the site, and is infused with ‘sweet almond extract and argan oil’.

Boots also has a slightly more expensive option with the Kerastase Genesis Anti-Chute Fortifiant Serum for £49.50 on its website. This one is expertly designed to target weaker hair strands and is advised to be used daily to help minimise the risk of breakage.

The Color Wow Dream Coat spray has been rated 4.3 out of five stars from over 100,000 reviews on Amazon, however. One person said: “Amazing purchase, it has made my hair loads smoother and less frizzy, would definitely buy again.”

Another wrote: “This is excellent and I cannot live without it. I have shoulder length hair and it makes it easy to manage and in great condition. I don’t blow dry my hair without it now.”

A third person commented: “Recommended by my hairdresser, this really is a ‘wow’ product! Great for getting rid of frizz and really does prevent frizzing in damp / humid conditions, leaving straightened hair looking shiny, healthy and looking good. Not sticky or greasy. Does not make hair feel feel heavy in any way. Lasts well. I found I just need to reapply every 4 washes. Nice to be able to wear hair down all the time having got used to tying it back to make it look tidier..”

A handful of others disagreed, however, as one person said: “Makes hair so smooth and sleek, have noticed makes hair a bit more greasier than normal after few days, but still love (it).”

Another commented: “I have thick textured hair. I live under constant humidity and blow dry my hair. After shampooing I generously coat my hair with this and proceed with blow drying. It keeps the frizz away for a good while. But there are cheaper alternatives like the Hask Keratin hairspray. I think Wow is slightly overpriced.”
