Sky has just added a new deal to its January sale that’s cut almost £100 off an already-reduced Sky Glass TV bundle
Sky has unveiled surprise new deal in its January sale that’s seen Sky Glass reduced by almost £100. The provider has already cut the price of its TV bundles to tempt shoppers, but has now dropped a new Sky Glass sale with prices starting at £27 when spreading the cost – equal to 90p per day.
This provides a perfect opportunity for those looking to replace their current TV with a shiny new model as well as upgrade their TV channel and streaming subscriptions. For those unfamiliar, Sky Glass is the brand’s own 4K QLED smart TV with TV channels and streaming apps built-in.
It also boasts a built-in six speaker soundbar and hands-free voice control, with content beamed to the TV over WiFi without the need for a satellite dish or even a Sky box. The latest deals pair the device with Sky’s new Essential TV plan as standard, which provides access to more than 100 channels like Sky Atlantic, the home of blockbuster HBO shows like The Day of the Jackal and The Last of Us.

It also includes subscriptions to Netflix Standard with Ads and Discovery+. Depending on budget and screen size there’s a choice of three Sky Glass bundles, each is reduced by £96.
Prices currently start at £27 for the 43” model, increasing to £32 for the 55” model and £37 for the 65” model. Considering the price of Sky Glass over the past few months, it’s hard to argue that there’s ever been a better time to get a Sky Glass TV.
Sky Glass is Sky’s own 4K UHD smart TV which allows you to watch Sky TV, Cinema and sports all built in without the need to mess around with a satellite or Sky box
It comes with more than 100 TV channels like Sky Atlantic, plus Netflix and Discovery+ subscriptions as standard.
That’s because the package has recently seen three price drops. For most of 2024, Sky Glass’ entry level option would’ve set you back £42.
Back in November, Sky refreshed its plans and lowered Sky Glass to a new starting price of £33. Prices were reduced even further to £29 in the Winter sale before the launch of the latest Sky Glass sale, with prices now at a more affordable £27.
With this new double discount, shoppers are handed a great way of spreading the cost of a new device rather than forking out hundreds of pounds in one fell swoop and consolidating their TV subscription in one monthly payment. However, it’s worth keeping in mind that, at this price, not every channel is available, but there is the option to customise the package with extra channels.
You can upgrade to Sky’s Ultimate TV plan for an extra £7 and watch more than 40 premium channels that aren’t included with the Essential TV plan, such as Sky Max, Sky Documentaries and National Geographic. There are also the Sky Cinema and Sky Sports TV packs for an extra £10 and £20 if you want to catch the latest blockbusters and sporting action.
Shoppers should also note that a Sky Glass plan consists of two elements; the Sky Glass TV comes on a 48-month loan, while the Essential TV subscription is on a 24-month contract. There’s also a £20 upfront cost to get things up and running, while Sky says its prices may change within the life of the contract.
Sky isn’t the only provider kicking off 2025 with a huge sale, as Virgin Media has slashed more than £500 off some of its TV and broadband bundles. As part of its own Winter sale, the Biggest Combo bundle is £504 off at £69 a month – down from £97 – includes more than 210 TV channels, Netflix and 516Mbps fibre broadband.
There’s also the more affordable Bigger Combo bundle at £33, which comes with more than 200 TV channels and 362Mbps broadband.
