Jellycat fans were quick to notice the resemblance between the TK Maxx bag charm and one of the brand’s popular charms
TK Maxx fans have fallen in love with a “cute” £3.99 item that reminds shoppers of Jellycats. For years, Jellycat has delighted customers with its range of soft toys and gifts.
From life-sized plushies to character-themed bags and charms, fans have lots of adorable Jellycats to choose from. Now, shoppers can also pick up a strikingly similar bag charm from TK Maxx.
Several viral videos show shoppers finding £3.99 croissant-shaped charms in stores. While the design isn’t identical to Jellycat’s £23 Amuseables Croissant Bag Charm, it does offer a sweet alternative for shoppers looking for a bag charm for less.
Showcasing TK Maxx’s latest bag charms on TikTok, @harrietbrrrrr was delighted with the bargain find. In the video, which featured a croissant charm and a bag-shaped charm, the shopper urged followers to “run” to TK Maxx. “Guys and girls, run to TK Maxx for the cutest bag charms. It’s giving Jellycat and Hermes,” wrote @harrietbrrrrr. “I had to grab the Croissant.”
A viewer replied: “Oh no way, they’re so cute.” A second added: “Stoppp, I got the same one today – he reminded me of my huge jellycat.” The shopper replied: “Right !!! It was £3.99 – such a no-brainer.”
Elsewhere on TikTok, another fan said: “I was so happy when I saw it. ” Meanwhile, a shopper who fell in love with several charms, including the croissant, agreed that bag charm fans should “run to TK Maxx.” In the video, @heather_munro showcased more food-themed charms.
Alternatively, Jellycat lovers might like Home Bargains’ Valentine’s Day range, which has also drawn comparisons to the popular toy brand. Posting on TikTok, @Fenloninteriors_ told viewers: “Jellycat lovers, get yourselves down to Home Bargains because they have brought out Jellycat [alternative] heart keyrings.” The fan added: “Not only that they are £1.99. How cute is he?”
