‘Timeless’ perfume that ‘lasts up to 6 hours’ is better than half price on Amazon

‘Really like this product. This scent is sort of retro and timeless.’

Amazon shoppers are raving over a ‘timeless’ fragrance that they insist brings in lots of compliments. CK One Essence has dropped down 59% from £63 to £25.60 in a limited time deal.

The unisex scent opens up with fresh notes of white tea, bergamot, blood orange and black pepper before deepening to a heart of green tea, mint and geranium. It rounds out to an earthy base of musk, sandalwood, incense and moss.

The tea notes in the head and base of the fragrance remind us of Molton Brown’s new £140 perfume Tea Ceremony with features green tea and matcha. It’s also been compared to Creed’s Silver Mountain Water (£310) which it shares four notes with.

On Amazon, CK One Essence has pulled in an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 from across 1,762 global ratings. One shopper said: “Just what I need. I am not a perfume connoisseur in any way, but I’d say that CK ONE EDT and EDP especially are just right for me: unassuming, subtle, soft and sensual fragrance.”

While another insisted they’ll go on to repurchase the fragrance, writing: “Really like this product. This scent is sort of retro and timeless. The bottle is well made, the smell is fresh and lasts. Bought in the sale, I will look out for it again. I didn’t have a CK phase as a youth, but am embracing it in my 40s.”

One shopper said they wanted an improved longevity, saying: “I would expect a bit more from CK. This specific one’s smell does not last long.”

In order to boost the longevity of a fragrance it is recommended to apply it to clean and freshly washed skin. Ideally immediately after moisturising while there’s still a level of moisture to the skin.

Another shopper was impressed with the longevity, saying: “What can you say about this classic? This is a little bit stronger than the original which is just perfect now. I use it in work and it lasts up to six hours which is just perfect. Not over the top. Just a nice smell. Been complimented a couple of times.”

It’s clear that shoppers seem to think around six hours is standard longevity for this scent, with another writing: “Calvin Klein one for me has always been a light and refreshing smell.

“Usually once sprayed it’ll probably last 6-8 hours when sprayed on skin and a bit longer when sprayed on clothing. The size is compact and great for portable use if need be.”
