Three men have been charged with the murder of a man on Christmas Day.

Kirk Marsden, 37, was seriously injured outside The Gate Bar and Grill in Blackburn, Lancs, just after 4:45pm on Wednesday.

Lancashire police were called to the area after reports of an altercation outside bar during which Kirk Marsden was hit by a Toyota Land Cruiser and suffered multiple injuries. Kirk, from Blackburn, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital, but sadly died in the early hours of Boxing Day.

Thomas Ward, 58, of no fixed address, Michael O’Neill, 35, of New Wellington Street, Blackburn and James Ward, 26, of no fixed address, have been charged with murder and are due in court in Preston.
