Molly-Mae Hague recommends a scalp massager from FUL

There’s no such thing as too many gadgets when it comes to your beauty routine in our opinion, but more often than not they can end up being pretty pricey. However, Molly-Mae Hague has shared one of her go-to essential haircare tools – and it costs less than £10.

In a recent YouTube video, the former Love Island star opened up a box of goodies for her hair which included the FUL Scalp Massager Shampoo Brush, £9.50 here. As she unboxed the massager, she mentioned that she’d accidentally gotten rid of her old one a few weeks ago so had needed to buy a new one, before demonstrating exactly how to use it.

Molly-Mae showed how she uses the scalp massager to make sure her shampoo and hair treatments can actually reach her scalp, as she used the brush in a circular motion at the roots of her hair. She also explained that the massaging motion helps to stimulate your hair follicles, which can encourage hair to grow longer and healthier.

She also showed off just how much her natural hair had grown recently, as she took out her ponytail to show off her new length. Her au natural tresses now reached well beyond her shoulders in thick, healthy-looking curls, as she exclaimed: “This all my natural hair!”

The exact massager that Molly-Mae used was from haircare brand FUL, and is made from soft silicone and biodegradable straw. It’s been designed with a palm-sized top that’s easy to grip, and has blunt-tipped pointy rubber bristles that help reach your scalp no matter how thick your hair is.

The hair tool not only helps give your hair a more thorough cleanse whilst it’s being washed, but it also helps exfoliate your scalp too, eliminating build-up that can cause greasy roots and a dry, itchy scalp. The massager has been getting some great reviews from shoppers, with one saying: “Really loved the brush. Felt really lovely on the scalp. Calming and invigorating at the same time!”

Another wrote: “I was keen to try the scalp massagers I love having my head massaged at the hairdresser. It left my scalp with a lovely tingling feeling. It’s an excellent gift for a friend.” Whilst another said: “This is something I didn’t know I needed until I tried it. The soft bristles are very comfortable and relaxing making for an enjoyable scalp massage. Highly recommend!”

If you’re all about efficiency, we’re also a fan of this set. The INKEY List and Tangle Teezer Exclusive Scalp Care Kit, £19.99 here, which is worth £24.99. The duo includes a scalp scrub and an exfoliating and massaging tool to promote a healthier-looking scalp, breaking down product build up and dead skin cells to leave your hair looking refreshed and revitalised.
