Shoppers can make savings
A “minimalist” mirror priced at £27.99 at The Range promises to add “natural charm” to your home, and it is almost identical to a similar but pricier piece on sale at B&Q. The Range remains a firm favourite amongst shoppers looking for homeware, garden furniture, children’s toys, and beauty products at an affordable price.
Hidden among other options, The Range is selling the Ashdown Wooden Shelf Mirror for just shy of £28. The Range says the mirror is “sleek” while offering “the perfect spot to display your décor or store small essentials”.
The retailer continues: “Add a touch of natural charm to your space with the Ashdown Wooden Shelf Mirror. Crafted with a minimalist wooden frame, this mirror combines style and function in one sleek design.
“The sleek mirror provides a clear reflection while the integrated shelf offers the perfect spot to display your décor or store small essentials. This mirror blends seamlessly with a variety of décor themes, so you can elevate your traditional or contemporary home’s style effortlessly.”
Meanwhile, a similar-looking version, priced at a more expensive £38, is available to buy from B&Q. The retailer’s Berkfield Bathroom Mirror introduces “a touch of aesthetically pleasing into your bathroom with this mirror, which adds a contemporary style to any room.”
B&Q added: “ The wall mirror is made of engineered wood and acrylic, making it durable and stable. It features one small shelf in the bottom, which can easily accommodate your essential toiletries and bath items such as soaps, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
“Additionally, it is easy to clean with a damp cloth. Stylish and functional, this mirror is surely meant to make your room design authentic and exceptional.”
The retailer goes on to list a number of its features, including: “Colour: Sonoma oak, Material: Engineered wood, acrylic, Dimensions: 60 x 10.5 x 37 cm. Assembly required.
“Please note: screw(s) and plug(s) for inside the wall are not included. Seek and use screw(s) and plug(s) suitable for your walls. If you are uncertain, seek professional advice. Read and follow each step of the instruction carefully.”
At a glance, both items look borderline identical, but there are some differences. For example, the B&Q version is marketed solely for the bathroom, and is much smaller compared to the longer mirror available at The Range.
Shoppers looking for more information about the B&Q mirror can view product images, dimensions and arrange home delivery on the retailer’s website. Yet should you opt for the cheaper alternative at The Range, find out similar details on the The Range website.
