The brand behind the UK’s favourite gel kits just launched a shortcut to perfect toes

Going to the salon for a fresh manicure or pedicure is always a treat, but the cost of keeping nails looking pristine can quickly add up. That’s where Mylee has built a loyal following.

The beauty brand, perhaps best known for its at-home gel nail kits, has become a go-to for shoppers wanting salon-worthy nails without the salon price tag. By helping users create long-lasting manicures from home, Mylee has already saved many beauty lovers both time and money – and now the brand is turning its attention to pedicures too.

The new Mylee Gel Toe Wraps (£14.99) gives shoppers an easy way to get cute toes for less. Similar to Mylee’s popular nail wraps, the toe wraps are designed for quick, mess-free application, with no UV lamp required and no drying time.

To celebrate the launch, we’ve rounded up some of the best picks from Mylee for beauty fans looking to upgrade their at-home nail routine. Scroll down for more.

Mylee Gel Toe Wraps – £14.99

Of course, our first pick has to be the brand’s newest launch. The Gel Toe Wraps offer an easy, affordable alternative to salon pedicures and come in a range of chic designs and colours.

The Gel Toe Wraps come in a range of colours and sizes.

Made from high-quality gel, the wraps make at-home pedicures just as simple as manicures. And with no drying time and no UV lamp needed, they’re ideal for anyone wanting a quick beauty refresh before a holiday, wedding or summer event.

Application takes four steps: prep the cuticles, apply and press the wraps onto the nails, trim and align the excess, then press down firmly to seal. If cared for properly, the wraps can last up to 21 days, though users are advised to keep their toes dry for two hours after application.

Another option is fake nails, such as the Elegant Touch Salon Pedi (£5.41, Amazon). These require glue application and last around seven days, according to reviews.

Mylee The Main Kit – £99

Considered Mylee’s crowning glory, The Main Kit includes everything shoppers need to achieve salon-style gel nails at home. The bundle comes with a professional-style UV lamp alongside essentials including a base coat, top coat, builder gel, lint-free wipes, a buffing block, cuticle pusher and more.

I actually have one at home myself, having picked it up a few years ago from a fellow beauty writer, and it has genuinely saved me so much money over the years. It takes around half an hour to do a proper set, but my nails usually last for up to two weeks, and I’m constantly asked where I get them done.

There is definitely a learning curve at first (my application skills are far better now than when I first started), but once I got used to it, it is incredibly easy to use. Plus, with so many gel shades available from the brand, the manicure possibilities feel almost endless.

As an alternative, though, Manucurist’s Discovery Kit is currently on sale from £111 to £79. This kit has all the bits to achieve a salon-ready manicure, though it only comes with one colour, whilst Mylee comes with four.

Mylee Nail Art Kit (Be Jewelled) – £32

Once nails are in place, a little decoration is always a nice way to make them feel more unique. And that’s where the Mylee nail art kits come in.

There are loads to choose from, but the Bejewelled kit is my personal pick. It comes with a builder gel, assorted gems and pearls, plus gold leaf for adding a little extra sparkle. Shoppers will also get a mixing palette for custom shades and textures, along with a nail art brush and dotting tool, so they can really lean into the DIY salon experience.

I haven’t tried this myself, but one happy shopper shared: “It came with everything necessary to get started with nail art. The little gems are gorgeous and plentiful, the slab feels premium, and the tool and brush work perfectly. The clear builder gel is also what made me purchase, as it’s great value for money as a set.”

However, another noted: “The builder gel, the gold foil, liner brushes and the doting tool are nice and seem to be a decent quality product, but the clear gems are cloudy and have next to no shine to them.”
