Tesco has been bringing out its festive homeware range for shoppers who want to indulge in all things Christmas early
Tesco has been slowly adding its new Christmas range to stores, with eagle-eyed shoppers spotting finds before the full launch. One piece getting lots of social media attention is a glass mug with a unique feature.
TikTok user Emma, who goes by @Fearless_in_her_40s on the app, took a trip to her local Tesco and was drawn to the festive homeware aisle. She stopped in her tracks to share the “rather fabulous” glass Christmas mug.
Showing it to the camera, the shopper tipped the Glass Mug with Snow about and saw that the white flakes trapped inside turn the glass into a fun snow globe. She said it made “the most lovely winter scene” with pine trees and reindeer.
In the video caption, Emma wrote: “Give them a shake and watch the snowfall whilst enjoying your favourite beverage. The perfect Christmas 2024 must have!”
The mug is just the beginning though as, from October 28, Tesco shoppers will be able to enjoy the store’s new decorations both in stores and online. Keen Christmas fans can look forward to hundreds of products, with prices starting from just 50p.
On TikTok, one user replied: “They’re gorgeous!” Another commented: “Got one the other day and I love it!”
A third added: “Stunning! I’d have to stop myself from shaking it with my tea in it though!!” Someone else said: “I don’t need another mug for my growing collection – but I’m buying this! Haven’t seen anything like this before.”
Online, it is described as a “beautiful snow filled glass mug”. The supermarket has plans to release dozens of similar items to make your home as festive as possible this December.
The range will include soft furnishings like pillows and blankets as well as classic Christmas decorations suited for a number of different themes and colour schemes. This year’s festive homeware range at Tesco is divided into three categories:
- Cosy: A modern twist to the traditional Christmas colour palette, blending natural foliage, rich textures and warm creams and greens for a scandi-inspired vibe.
- Festive Fun: A joyful explosion of colour, characters and designs including candy cane stripes and gingerbread people.
- Indulgence: Focuses on jewel-toned hues and luxe touches such as velvet.
