Shoppers can auto-exchange Clubcard points into Virgin Points for the first time by Sunday, 25 January, and bag 5,000 bonus Virgin Points for travel experiences
Shoppers can pocket 5,000 bonus points simply by signing up to automatically exchange their Tesco Clubcard vouchers this month. Customers who register to auto-convert their Clubcard points into Virgin Points for the first time by Sunday, 25 January, will receive 5,000 bonus Virgin Points.
These points can then be transformed into incredible getaways. Virgin Atlantic revealed: “What you might not know is your collection of Tesco Clubcard points can actually be exchanged into Virgin Points.
And with Virgin Red, Virgin Points can be spent on a whole host of epic travel experiences. “We’re talking dream holiday stuff like setting sail with Virgin Voyages, stylish sleepovers at Virgin Hotels, flying high with Virgin Atlantic Reward Flights and so much more,” a spokesperson said.

“That means those weekly big shops could turn into a trip of a lifetime.
“There’s even 5,000 bonus Virgin Points up for grabs for Clubcard members signing up to auto-exchange Clubcard points into Virgin Points for the first time by 25 January 2026. Just make sure you have at least 250 Clubcard points in your account as of 25 January 2026.

To swap your Clubcard points for Virgin Points, you’ll need to be both a Clubcard holder and a member of a Virgin Points scheme (Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club). You’ll bag 2 Virgin Points for every 1 Clubcard point you exchange.
Instant Points is exclusively accessible to members who have enrolled in auto-exchange. For those opting for manual exchange, the minimum requirement is £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers or 150 Clubcard points.
Subsequently, you can exchange in 50p or 50-point increments.
Should you arrange for your Clubcard points to be automatically converted into Virgin Points, the minimum exchange threshold is 250 Clubcard points.
Once Clubcard points have been converted into Virgin Points, they cannot be transferred back to your Clubcard account.
Virgin Points will remain unusable until they appear in your account.
