An 18-year-old who died after a brutal stabbing attack on Monday has been named as Maliki Sharma from Feltham.
Officers rushed to Victoria Road, Feltham at around 5pm following reports of a stabbing, the Met Police said in a statement today.
“Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance Service and located an 18-year-old with multiple stab wounds,” the force said in a statement.
“He was taken to hospital, where despite the best efforts of medical staff, he was sadly pronounced dead.”
Maliki’s family are being supported be specialist officers following the shocking incident.
Two 16-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon. Investigating officers made the arrests within one day of Maliki’s death.
The pair have been released on bail as detectives make further enquiries.
“Detectives continue to pursue every available line of enquiry. Local residents may also notice an increased police presence in the area in the coming days, where officers will be available to listen to any concerns from the community,” the statement continued.

The force said a 19-year-old man was also arrested following allegations of an assault and has since been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
Rhys Huskinson, 19, of Feltham will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 15 January. It is alleged that Hutchinson assaulted a 16-year-old boy during the incident on Monday, 12 January.
