The teen appeared in court after the man was stabbed to death on the quiet cul-de-sac, with emergency services descending onto the street in the early hours of Tuesday

A teenage girl appeared in court this week after a man was stabbed to death in the early hours on a quiet cul-de-sac.

Emergency services descended on Southfields Way in Harrietsham, Kent, at around 1.30am on Tuesday, July 2, to reports that a man had been seriously assaulted outside a house. The 25-year-old, now named as Jack Cadwallader, was rushed to hospital but despite the best efforts of the emergency services, he was later confirmed dead.

Officers later arrested a man and a women, who were both known to Jack, and took them into custody. The woman, a 19-year-old, was charged by Kent Police and named as Paige Poulton. The teen appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, July 5, charged with murder. She appeared in the dock where she wore a grey jumper, spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address. Poulton was remanded into custody before appearing at the same court again on July 3, reports Kent Online.
