The new Target Darts shop will coincide with some exciting new product launches – but it’s only open until the end of the month
Darts has exploded in popularity over recent years. The sport has always attracted significant interest, but thanks to teenage sensation Luke Littler’s meteoric rise, it has catapulted it to unprecedented heights.
Now one of the most prominent brand names in the sport, and the brand behind the equipment used by stars like Luke Littler, Rob Cross and Nathan Aspinall, has unveiled its inaugural official pop-up shop. Promising “an immersive darts experience” the new Target Darts shop will coincide with thrilling product launches and provides opportunities to trial the Omni, Target’s autoscoring system and light ring (though advance booking is required).
Located in Manchester’s Spinningfields district, the pop-up store promises additional attractions including “rare finds and exclusive merchandise you won’t see anywhere else.” In a tantalising twist, the brand has also hinted at potential celebrity encounters, suggesting “if you’re lucky… you might even bump into a pro or two,” reports the Liverpool Echo.
Whilst they haven’t revealed exactly which professionals might appear, Target players include household names like Stephen Bunting, Luke Littler, Nathan Aspinall, Rob Cross and Chris Dobey. For further information and updates, Target is advising fans to follow the brand on social media for booking updates and announcements.
Target isn’t the only brand favoured by darting professionals, with manufacturers like Red Dragon proving equally popular amongst stars like Premier League champion and multiple major victor Luke Humphries and Welsh aces Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price. Meanwhile, three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen chooses Winmau arrows (£89.95 on Amazon).
