Born and raised in Belgium and graduated with a masters in Nanoscience, Nanotechnology and Nano-Engineering from the university of Leuven. I did my master thesis at the research center IMEC and started working as an opto-mechanical engineer for about 4.5 years doing design work for ASML before switching to a role of business development manager at Vacom. I have always been involved in the semiconductor industry either through my studies or my job. In my current position I need to deep dive in all industries that require vacuum technology as a key enabler for their products and processes. EUV lithography is one of the key processes thar require ultra clean vacuum. Working within the semiconductor industry I have privileged insights into the industry and get valuable feedback, feelings and insights from colleagues, competitors and customers in the industry that help shape my viewpoints.
