The supermarket has reduced the price of two popular chocolate tubs
A supermarket that has slashed the price of chocolate tubs says its deal is the ‘cheapest in the UK’. Ahead of Christmas, many chocolate fans will be stocking up on the popular tubs, ready to share with friends and family as they celebrate the season.
From Roses to Quality Street, and Celebrations to Heroes, most sweet-toothed shoppers have their own personal favourite, and there’s good news for Quality Street and Celebrations fans. The Food Warehouse has reduced the price of the popular tubs from £5 to £3.95.
Showcasing the deal on social media, posting as @thefoodwarehouseuk, the supermarket chain wrote: “Quality Street & Celebrations. Now £3.95. Was £5.” The caption added: “The cheapest in the UK. Don’t miss out! Grab your chocolate tubs before they’re gone. Offer ends 02.01.26.” The video, which was posted earlier this week, has racked up 53,000 views to date.
For customers who opt for the Quality Street tub, shoppers can expect all the usual chocolates, such as the Green Triangle, Strawberry Delight, and Toffee Finger. Meanwhile, customers who opt for the Celebrations tub can expect Mars, Twix, and Galaxy chocolates, among others.
While the offer runs until the start of 2026, shoppers eager to stock up on boxes may want to take advantage of the deal as soon as possible. Iceland and The Food Warehouse’s joint website is already out of stock of both tubs.
However, the store showcased in the video still had rows of tubs in stock, so for some shoppers, it could be worth checking stores. Shoppers keen to look for the deal can find their local Iceland or Food Warehouse on the supermarket’s website.
In more good news for chocolate fans, other supermarkets are also offering the tubs for the same low price. For instance, Lidl, Aldi are selling Quality Street and Celebrations tubs for £3.95 each, with Tesco offering the same deal to Clubcard holders, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Elsewhere, Morrisons shoppers without a More Card can expect to pay £7 for a Quality Street tub. As such, shoppers would do well to shop around before buying their Christmas chocolates, especially if they’re planning to purchase more than one tub, as some supermarkets offer better savings than others.
Discount chains such as Home Bargains also offer deals on some festive favourites. For instance, Home Bargains has reduced the Quality Street Chocolate Sharing Bag 300g from £4.50 to £3.49. The retailer has also discounted the Dairy Box Milk Chocolate Box 160g from £4 to £3.49.
For shoppers looking to stock up on chocolate tubs, it’s important to remember the health effects of eating large quantities of chocolate. A balanced diet provides essential nutrients, while limiting sugar intake can help avoid excessive calorie consumption, sudden blood sugar spikes, inflammation, and dental issues.
