Below is a full list of DWP and other payments which could be affected by the Easter bank holiday weekend

Easter falls on Sunday, April 5 this year, meaning scheduled benefit payments due to land in bank accounts will be moved to accommodate the holiday.

Payments due on Good Friday or bank holiday Monday will be issued on Thursday, April 2. This includes State Pension, Personal Independence Payment ( PIP ), Adult Disability Payment (ADP), Child Benefit and Universal Credit. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), HM Revenue and Customs ( HMRC ) and Social Security Scotland have all confirmed payments due on these dates – Friday, April 3 or Monday, April 6 – will be paid early.

DWP has also confirmed that Jobcentre Plus offices and phone lines will be closed on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6, reopening as normal on Tuesday, April 7. It is worth noting that if your upcoming payment does not fall on either of the Easter bank holidays, it will be paid as usual.

Below is a full list of DWP and HMRC payments which could be affected by the Easter bank holiday weekend. If your benefit or payment is not listed, it will not be affected by the Easter bank holiday weekend, reports the Daily Record.

HMRC payment date changes over Easter weekend

Payments due to be made on Friday April 3 or Monday April 6 for the benefits listed below will be paid on Thursday, April 2.
