Departures have been suspended at Stansted Airport this morning following a fire.
The hub, a base for Jet2.com, Ryanair and TUI Airways, says security is closed due to the small fire, which happened at around 3.30am in the Escape Lounge, part of the departure area.
It has been extinguished but flights won’t leave the airport until later this morning, a spokesperson said.
