Unless you’ve been hiding from the internet all summer, you’ll have no doubt spotted a certain accessory that’s become an unexpected must-have – the Stanley Quencher. The large travel cup has become a mainstay in almost every video and post on social media, not to mention sold out from almost every store it’s stocked in – and now it’s teamed up with the queen of accessorising herself, Barbie, for a limited edition collab.
The Barbie X Stanley collection has officially launched on the Stanley website to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Barbie, and features eight different Quencher designs inspired by iconic dolls from throughout history. The first two cups went on sale on Monday 16 September, and new ones will drop every day until Friday September 20, when all eight will finally be available.

Each Quencher will be priced at £60 and come in the jumbo 40oz/1200ml size, with the Barbie Icon Quencher also available in a slightly smallrer 30oz/800ml size for £55. Each cup will honour a decade or an unforgettable era of the iconic doll, with one also paying homage to Barbie’s ever-faithful partner Ken.
As well as the Barbie-inspired designs, you’ll get all the features of a classic Stanley Quencher. They’re made from 18/8 recycled stainless steel which can be used to keep your liquids cold for up to 11 hours, or iced for up to two days, and have a double-wall vacuum insulation which keeps the heat out without making them icy cold to the touch.
They also have a three-position lid, as well as a reusable straw and a comfort grip handle to make them easy to carry and use. The Stanley Quenchers are even compatible with car cupholders, so you can take them on long journeys or your daily commute, and they’re totally dishwasher safe so you can keep them squeaky clean with minimal effort.
If you’re after a similar style, you can currently get the Barbie XL 1200ml Multiway Travel Mug with Straw for £30 over at Freemans. Although this one isn’t dishwasher or microwave safe, it does have many other similar features including a multi-way lid, comfort grip handle and a reusable straw with a cover top for when you’re on the go.
