The style is designed to ‘complement’ modern homes that value ‘practicality’

B&M shoppers can get their hands on a “practical” and “sophisticated” coffee table to enhance their living room – without spending a small fortune. The bargain store has been releasing lots of new homeware and furniture, especially for those looking to make upgrades on a budget.

The Home Collection Cairo Coffee Table is on offer in a Special Buy sale for £25. Describing the table online, B&M bosses said: “Bring style and sophistication to your living space with this Home Collection Cairo Coffee Table.”

The discount store claimed that the style was “designed to complement modern interiors and urban spaces”. It added that this coffee table features “a natural wood effect finish and black framing for modern style and practicality”.

The split-level table offers plenty of storage and surface area, making the most of living rooms with limited space. The “modern” design of this table is very similar to other options available for purchase elsewhere, but it comes at a fraction of the cost.

Looking online for similar products, shoppers may come across the £33 URBNLIVING version from B&Q that looks very similar – even with the mixed legs. The only noticeable difference would be that B&M’s version is slightly shorter (80cm wide compared to B&Q’s 100cm).

Shoppers have a few more colour options for the wooden portion when shopping at B&Q, though – with white, black and grey tones also available for the same £32.99. Looking online, B&Q does not sell this table in any of its physical stores, with shoppers needing to pay an extra delivery fee on top of the £32.99.

Unlike this, B&M does not offer home delivery on this item, meaning shoppers who find the table in shops across the UK can buy it and take it home the same day. The bargain store has recently been getting lots of attention for its discounted homeware range.

The discount store is known for its bargain items for going around the home, with many pieces of furniture recently getting rave reviews online. In a world where people appreciate practicality just as much as appearances, shoppers might be impressed by the features of the ‘Beauty Ottoman’, discounted to £16 in a Special Buy sale.

B&M bosses describe the neutral-coloured ottoman as being “the perfect blend of style, comfort, and functionality”. The sturdy seat also has a major perk for anyone who wants to keep their beauty essentials neatly organised and out of sight when not being used.

Just because it is listed as being made for beauty products shouldn’t stop shoppers from making this practical item work for whatever needs they have. The storage seat could also be used as a functional yet aesthetic toy box or, pushing the side organisers in, it could stash cosy blankets or an extra bedding set for guests.

This style also sells for much more elsewhere, with shoppers at Dunelm being charged £40 for a similar Boucle Large Round Ottoman. Savvy shoppers who choose the B&M alternative could save themselves close to £25.
