The Soundcore by Anker headphones are a firm favourite with shoppers on a budget for sound and battery life

When it comes to the latest technology and gadgets, there are so many options available. But there’s one product that will currently save shoppers nearly 40% – and one site says they’re being sold at their lowest ever price.

The Soundcore by Anker Q20i Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Foldable Headphones are currently available on Amazon for £31.97, discounted from £49.99, but only for a limited time.

The headphones have two internal and two external mics, which work together to detect external noise and reduce it by up to 90%. They also have 40 hours of battery life, meaning they are great for travelling.

For those who don’t want noise-cancelling, there’s the option to switch to transparency mode. What’s more, users can connect to two devices simultaneously with Bluetooth 5.0 and instantly switch between them.

This discount will save shoppers 36% and it’s the cheapest price the pair have ever been. According to the site CamelCamelCamel, these headphones were sold at their highest ever price on Amazon for £49.99 (March 4 2025) and their lowest ever price for £31.98 (May 31 2025) – making the current price one penny cheaper than it’s previous lowest.

An alternative is the Sony WH-CH520 On-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones, which are currently being sold for £34.99 on Argos. They have up to 50 hours of battery life, can connect two devices simultaneously, and are available in the colours yellow, blue, white, pink and black.

Or there’s the SENNHEISER Accentum Wireless Bluetooth Noise-Cancelling Headphones, which are £99 at the moment, reduced from £119. These have active noise-cancelling with quick attention mode, a battery life of up to 50 hours, and noise-cancelling mics for clear calls, the brand says.

Reviews for the Soundcore by Anker on Amazon are positive, with shoppers leaving an average 4.6 out of five-star rating, from nearly 40,000 reviews. One shopper titled their review: ‘Solid budget headphones with surprisingly rich sound’.

They added: “I bought these as a cheap backup to my AirPod Pros, mainly hoping for better noise isolation, and they’ve ended up exceeding expectations. The sound quality is fuller and more immersive than I expected (likely because of the over-ear design) – and honestly, they hold their own against headphones/earphones that cost several times more.”

Another shopper said as part of a longer review: “I’ve never had noise-cancelling headphones before, so this was my first purchase. I’m so impressed, I could watch a whole film on the plane without the volume super high, and they cancelled all surrounding noise out.”

While a third said: “For the price, these headphones are amazing. The sound is absolutely fantastic, with a fantastic app with a great EQ. The noise cancelling is great. They are very, very comfortable and sweatproof. These can be used wired at home or wireless when out and about.”

Some left feedback, however, with one commenting on the fit. They wrote: “These are good quality headphones, sound was fantastic on them, loved the noise cancelling, Bluetooth connectivity, and they are comfortable.

Unfortunately, I have sent them back, however, that is due to the fit, not the functionality.” Another simply said: “It’s good overall, sound noise cancelling not enough for me.”
