The brand’s whitening powder is made without peroxide and free from parabens, PEGs, and phthalates. The powder contains Pentasodium Triphosphate, which works to lift stains, Calcium Carbonate (this gently polishes the teeth to remove plaque and debris without damaging enamel) and Strontium Chloride, which delivers a ‘protective barrier over nerve endings to ensure a sensitivity-free experience’.

While the powder is offered on its own in two flavours – strawberry (now £17.99 from £29.99) and mint (also £17.99) – it looks like this Pro Teeth Whitening Kit only contains the mint iteration. This powder is loved for its ability to transform smiles from having deep-set stains, thanks to years of drinking tea, coffee, wine and smoking, to pearly whites in a matter of ‘weeks’, as some reviews state. Its process is also relatively streamlined and requires two minutes, twice a week.

One tub of the whitening powder lasts up to six months (which at £17.99 alone, means 35p per use) and can be applied just as you would toothpaste – to the brush. The powder has received high praise, with users giving it an overall star rating of 4.5 on TrustPilot. One glowing testimonial read: “I was sceptical at first, but this really works. Shoppers have claimed rapid changes in their teeth’s brightness when using the strips over the powder, with one person sharing: “These strips work amazingly well. A difference is seen after a few days and it gets better each time. The product was dispatched as soon as we ordered. We also use the powder in between but the strips definitely seem to work faster.” Although they can be used in partnership for even better results.
