Sky Sports is revving up for the new Formula 1 season, as well as the Carabao Cup final and must-see Premier League fixtures
Sky Sports has unveiled a new round of deals as it ramps up its coverage ahead of a packed summer of sport. Existing Sky customers can now upgrade to Sky Sports for £22 per month, which provides access to all nine dedicated sports channels.
There’s also an even cheaper deal for Formula 1 fans, as the Sky Sports F1 subscription has dropped from £20 per month to £15 – or 50p per day – just in time for the new season. New customers can still get in on the sporting action with the Sky’s new £15 Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle, which also includes more than 100 channels like Sky Atlantic, alongside free Netflix and Discovery+ subscriptions.
This latest round of deals comes ahead of a packed month of sport, as the new Formula 1 season is set to kick off in Australia on March 16. Sky Sports is the only place to watch every practice, qualifier and race live, with all 24 race weekends broadcast on the dedicated Sky Sports F1 channel.

With this, fans can catch Lewis Hamilton’s first season at Ferrari after leaving Mercedes, which could see him become the first driver in F1 history to win an eighth world championship. Closer to home, there are some must-see fixtures in the English top flight, with Liverpool and Newcastle facing off in the Carabao Cup final on March 16.
There’s also a round of crucial Premier League fixtures exclusive to Sky Sports, including Man United vs Arsenal on March 9, Bournemouth vs Brentford on March 15 and Arsenal vs Chelsea on March 16, while the Old Firm Derby is also scheduled for March 16. The new deals allow football fans to secure their Sky Sports membership in time for the 2025/26 season, with the broadcaster set to air 215 live games across the campaign – that’s 80% of all televised Premier League matches, according to Sky.
It’s not just the Premier League on offer though, as Sky Sports also airs more than 1,000 live games across the EFL, SPFL, WSL and Bundesliga. Members can also follow the darts train as Luke Littler defends his title in the Premier League Darts, running now until the end of May.
There’s also golf galore, as Sky is also home to the PGA Tour: The Players Championship, The Masters and US Open, while in tennis, fans can look forward to the ATP India Wells, WTA Tours and US Open. Looking further ahead, this summer will see some classic cricket ties, including the England vs India Five Test Match Series and England vs South Africa One Day Internationals from June to September.
It’s worth keeping in mind that a Sky Sports subscription runs for 24 months and requires a new Sky TV contract. The provider also says its prices ‘may change’ during the minimum term, meaning this must be considered before signing up.
Elsewhere, Virgin Media has brought back a rival deal that includes a free 4K Hisense smart TV when signing up for select TV and broadband packages, several of which also come with Sky Sports. Prices start at £65.99 per month for the Bigger Combo bundle + Sports, which includes more than 200 TV channels with Sky Sports HD, plus 362Mbps fibre broadband.
