The Sky Mobile deal allows shoppers to claim £300 cashback on their purchase
Once a relic of the noughties, flip phones have firmly returned thanks to innovative flexible touchscreens that fold in the middle. Samsung’s Galaxy Z line includes several popular models, and Sky is currently running an impressive cashback deal on the latest Galaxy Z Fold7.
When shoppers buy a new Galaxy Z Fold7 from the network until Thursday, January 29, they can claim a prepaid Mastercard worth £300 to spend in their Samsung wallet. All they have to do is submit a claim within 30 days of purchase to redeem the offer via the Sky website.
According to Samsung, the new Fold7 is slimmer and stronger than the previous model, yet boasts a larger 6.5-inch cover screen. Once users unfold the phone, it expands into an immersive 8-inch main screen that’s perfect for gaming and movies thanks to the speedy Snapdragon 8 Elite processor that powers the device.

Storage sizes run from 256GB to 1TB, providing plenty of room for snaps taken on the phone’s impressive camera system, which comprises a 200MP wide main lens with 2x optical zoom, a 10MP 3x optical zoom telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide lens along with two front-facing cameras. In addition, the brand says the Fold7’s 4,400mAh battery can power all-day use.
As for pricing, Sky is selling the Galaxy Z Fold7 with 256GB storage for £36 upfront plus £58 a month for 24 months. Shoppers will need to add an airtime plan on top — the 50GB plan for £12 a month will be a solid option for most users.

Over at O2, shoppers can claim a free pair of Pixel Buds 2a worth £129 when they buy a Google Pixel 10, with contracts from £48.35 monthly plus £30 upfront for 15GB data. Google says its battery can last over 30 hours on one charge, while under the hood its Tensor G5 chip provides advanced AI capabilities.
Another alternative is Apple’s latest iPhone 17 with 256GB storage, which Amazon is selling for £799. According to the brand, it’s powered by the latest A19 Pro chip with advanced cooling, enhanced camera systems, and Apple Intelligence.
As for the Galaxy Z Fold7, it’s received an impressive 4.7/5 rating on the Samsung website from over 2,200 reviews. One shopper said: “Nice, lightweight, thin and sleek looking.
“It oozes quality, feel and touch. Opening it up reveals a large quality screen, which makes watching movies and using multiple apps an absolute joy!”
A second chimed in: “I like the design, weight, functionality, performance, the list is endless. The 200 MP camera is awesome, and the ability to take a selfie using the main camera is up there for me. I am a Samsung person any day.”
A third shopper added: “I like it a lot and it’s easy to use, just as good as a tablet or small computer. It’s a very powerful phone.”
One buyer gave feedback: “Good battery, and great size. However, the main display is not optimised for many apps. I ended up using the cover screen more than the inner screen, which misses the whole point of a folding phone.”
Another mentioned the battery life of the handset: “Best Samsung so far. Battery life could be improved, but other than that, great phone.”
