Most broadband customers will see a £3 a month increase, while premium TV packages will be increasing between £1 and £3

Sky has announced new price rises from April for some broadband and TV customers.

Most broadband customers will see a £3 a month increase, while premium TV packages will be increasing between £1 and £3. Sky confirmed customers will be contacted about the changes from today.

Sky follows a variable pricing model, which means customers who are in a minimum term contract can cancel their package without early termination charges. The price rises will be reflected from April onwards.

But in some good news, Sky has announced that millions of TV customers will see HBO Max, Disney+ and Hayu included within their package as standard, as of next month.

Netflix is already included, taking the total value of streaming apps to £20 each month. A Sky spokesperson said: “From April, the prices of our Sky broadband and TV products will change.

“We always aim to limit the impact of price increases as much as possible, and our approach means Sky customers continue to see some of the lowest increases in the market.

“These updates will allow us to continue investing in delivering fast broadband, the best entertainment and live sport, and services our customers can rely on, while managing rising costs faced across the industry.”

It comes after Sky Mobile customers saw their bills rise last week. The majority of people will see their bill go up by £1.50 a month, which equates to an annual rise of £18. Some people will see their bill rise by more or less than this amount.

Customers will see the higher price reflected in their bill from February 14, 2026. It marks the first time Sky Mobile has announced a price change for in-contract customers in over seven years.

If you are unhappy about the price increase, and you are in the minimum term of your contract, you can cancel your package without paying an early termination charge.

The price of the Sky Mobile social tariff, which is available to those on low income, will remain frozen.

How to save money on your broadband and mobile bill

If you’re out of contract, then it is likely you are probably paying too much for your mobile and broadband. To save money, start by comparing prices online.

Check how many minutes and texts you’re currently using, or your broadband speed, as many people pay for higher allowances that they don’t end up using.

You can then switch to the new provider, or try haggling your current provider for a better deal. If you claim benefits, check if you are eligible for a cheaper social tariff.
