Consumers can choose from a range of bundle offers, as well as singular sales on popular pillows

Luxury sleep brand Simba has launched a limited flash sale on its website just for the August bank holiday weekend. Shoppers on the hunt for pillows, beds and mattresses can make savings, with the bonanza ending on Monday, August 25.

Consumers can save up to £300 on selected bundles, the contents of which vary depending on the deal shoppers opt for. For instance, this Simba Hybrid Mattress Bundle contains a mattress, duvet and two pillows. Prices for the single mattress bundle size are £717.60; if each item were to be bought separately, the sum would be £897.

The biggest size is EU queen; this bundle is £1,180.80, and if each item were to be bought separately, the sum would be £1,476. Eight mattress size options are available in total, including single, EU single, small double, double, EU double, king, super king, and EU queen.

Simba also has a Bed Bundle (bed and mattress), with single, double, king, and superking options for the bedframe and mattress (prices from £1,055.40 to £1,555.90). The bundle includes the same Hybrid mattress as the above deal and a Wilmslow bedframe, which is available in 34 colours, including neutrals and bright colours.

Shoppers can also select different materials, with a variety of velvets, cheniles, and linen textiles offered. At an extra cost, they can add storage, such as drawers or an ottoman. Opting for the single bundle will save shoppers £263, while opting for the superking bundle will save them £392.

Elsewhere, Dunelm has cut 20% off a Silentnight Memory Foam mattress, now £223.20 – £359.20, originally £279 – £449. It’s made with a memory top layer and 800 spring pockets underneath. It’s available in single, double, king, and superking sizes.

Simba also has bank holiday deals on pillows (sold separately, not part of a bundle), including £16 off the Hybrid Pillow, now £92.65; it was £109. Thanks to its ‘Nanocube’ design, the pillow’s height and firmness levels can be adjusted; cubes can be added or removed depending on an individual’s preference.

With more than 34,000 customer reviews, the Hybrid Pillow is one of Simba’s most popular items. One shopper wrote: “I honestly think I’ve found THE pillow. Not too hard but not too soft either, and the ability to alter the filling is brilliant. I bought this pillow for my husband, but he’s not getting it back! He can buy his own. Money well spent.”

A string of users reported dissatisfaction with the firmness of the pillow, with another customer saying: “I find the pillows too soft for my liking.” An additional buyer described it as ‘perfect’, adding: “I took a few cubes out as I sleep on my front. Have not had any neck pain since using them.”

Similarly, Emma also has a reduction on its Premium Cloud Pillow, now £60, usually £80. The fluffy microfibre filling is breathable, making it ideal for people who overheat at night. It has a medium-to-soft firmness.

Prospective buyers who are new to Simba can find overall reviews of the brand’s service and quality on Trustpilot, where there are more than 56,000 customer ratings. One five-star review reads: “I am happy with my purchase, it is an excellent mattress, as I expected.”

Another shopper said: “Quick delivery. Love my new pillow, comfortable and no more stiff neck.” However, another buyer reported issues with one item from their order, saying: “Finding the mattress dips in the middle, unfortunately. The pillows are great, so is the mattress protector. Delivery was good.”

A fourth person added: “Simba customer service was first class. Very polite, helpful and passionate about their customers and company. I wholly recommend Simba.”
