Victoria Beckham’s Mango collab has caught plenty of attention since its launch, and it seems even celebrities were unable to resist snapping up a piece or two from the range. Most recently Sienna Miller was spotted wearing the 100% Cotton Long Trench Coat, £300 here, as she headed out and about in London.
The Victoria Beckham X Mango collection was all about reimagining classic styles, and saw her experiment with deconstructed shapes and unusual details to elevate the timeless staples. Each piece was made from premium materials and was created to reflect the modern woman, breathing new life into those pieces we reach for time and time again.
Trench coats are considered one of the must-have wardrobe staples for any fashion fan, and this one is a great timeless option that’ll never go out of style. Despite plenty of pieces already being completely sold out, the trench coat is still available in all sizes, and it’s absolutely perfect for the unpredictable spring weather we’re currently having.
It’s made from 100% cotton which means its breathable and lightweight (ideal for those unexpectedly warm sunny days) whilst still giving you plenty of coverage when the inevitable rain showers hit. Just like everything else in the range, it features all the elements of a classic style, whilst still giving us something a little extra.
In this case, it kees the long length and V-neck lapel collar that you usually see on a traditional trench coat, along with the adjustable tie waist belt. However it also has some unique, unexpected features including bow fastenings on the cuffs and a layered design on the back.
The trench is only available in one colour, a classic beige, however if you’re more into a bolder colour palette for spring, we’re also loving this Tailored Relaxed Belted Trench Coat, £165 here (was £329), from Karen Millen which comes in one of this season’s hottest colours – red. It has a traditional iconic trench coat design, but does away with the neutral beige colour in favour of a fiery, bold crimson shade that’s perfect for making a statement.
If you prefer to keep things classic but can’t quite afford to splurge on the VB trench, we also found this bargain Stone Belted Longline Trench Coat, £44.99 here (was £59.99), over at New Look. It doesn’t have quite the same unusual details as the Victoria Beckham X Mango version, but it’s still a great alternative that gives you the timeless iconic trench look for less.
