Staff at Family Golf on Sidcup Bypass have earned praise from members of the public, who have said they may have saved the life of a young boy who sustained a head injury
Mini-golf course staff saved a young boy’s life following a horror wall collapse during a children’s birthday party.
The boy, 5, was left seriously injured but alive after staff at Family Golf on Sidcup Bypass in Sidcup, southeast London, with police called to the scene following the incident on Sunday, November 9.
London Metropolitan Police officers have launched an investigation into the incident after emergency services rushed to the scene and rushed the young boy to hospital, where he remains in life-threatening condition.
Bystanders who witnessed the boy sustain head injuries have said staff may have been integral to his survival, with one saying they “may have even saved his life”.
The incident also injured a second child, a six-year-old girl who was also rushed to hospital but has since been discharged.
One person at the scene who asked to remain anonymous told News Shopper “loads of police” had turned up at the scene of what they said was a children’s birthday party.
