Some shoppers love the midi dress so much that they’ve bought it in multiple colours

There are so many summer dresses out there that it can be tricky to find the perfect one that’ll tick all of the boxes and become your go-to during the warmer months. A midi dress from Roman, however, has done just that for a number of shoppers thanks to it being a ‘good length’, ‘very flattering’ and having pockets.

The Khaki Tie Dye Spot Print Midi Sundress is made from a lightweight crinkle woven fabric and has a square neckline with chunky straps. It has a ‘flattering’ fit and flare shape and has buttons running from the top of the front panel to the bottom.

Roman’s sundress comes in sizes 10 to 20 and costs £40. It has convenient side pockets and can be dressed up or down, making it a holiday staple. Pair it with sandals or sliders and a straw bag for a stylish daytime look, or dress it up with wedges or heels and some chunky jewellery for an evening outfit.

The dress is also available in a turquoise spot print and a black and white aztec pattern. John Lewis is selling a similar Superdry Tie Dye Cami Midi Dress for £44.99, while M&S has a Tie Dye Bandeau Maxi Dress costing £45.

The Roman midi dress has received an overall rating of 4.6 out of five on the retailer’s website. One person said: “Very nice summer dress. Love the fact it has pockets as they’re always handy. Nice length as I can wear it with flats – I’m 5ft 4.”

A second wrote: “Very flattering. Perfect for holiday wear. Lovely, fresh colour too.” A third added: “Casual and comfy dress. Good length. Perfect for the summer.”

Some shoppers have snapped the dress up in multiple colours, with one person commenting: “I have the black one and it’s so comfortable that I ordered it in the green.”

One customer, however, wishes the dress came with a belt. They explained: “Lovely lightweight summer dress that looks good for day or night, although a belt would have given it a dressier look so I’m on the hunt for one that goes well with it. Good fit and length – I’m 5ft 4ins and find that midis in the ‘normal’ range are often too long for me, but this was just about right.”
