This anti-ageing moisturiser is could help create the appearance of younger, revived-looking skin.

Shoppers with a key eye for a bargain will want to head to B&M for a new £2.99 face cream people are saying is like a luxury designer version. According to some content creators, the Face Facts polypeptide fusion cream is similar to one from Drunk Elephant.

Priced at £62 for 50ml, the Drunk Elephant product promises to restore skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and ageing. On TikTok, one creator shared a video of herself shopping in B&M on the lookout for products resembling Drunk Elephant.

This included the cheap Face Facts polypeptide cream alongside several others. On the box it is described as a “strengthening skin protein shot”.

The packaging also shows that it is made with amino acids and moringa seed oil and is completely plant-based. In her video Sarah Ivell also picked out the following budget products similar to those created by Drunk Elephant, all from Face Facts:

  • One-step mini facial
  • Bronzing glow drops
  • Perfect prep primer.

You could also buy these as a set as part of the glowy skin prep trio, which she showed in the video. In a caption under her video, Sarah said: “Found what appears to be Drunk Elephant and Bubble dupes in B&M…most importantly please check the ingredients before buying for your children.”

Another creator, Maria Louise Young, also took to TikTok to show the glowy skin prep trio from B&M, saying she “couldn’t wait” to try them out. She told followers they cost £5, “bargain”, she said.

On the Drunk Elephant website, the Protoni polypeptide cream has an average rating of 4.7 out of five from more than 1,000 reviewers. The site explains: “This protein moisturiser combines signal peptides, growth factors, supportive amino acids and pygmy waterlily for immediate improvement in the appearance of skin’s tone, texture and firmness.

“Protini’s proprietary formula restores younger, revived-looking skin, almost from the first application. Lines, wrinkles, and signs of sun damage appear reduced, and skin feels strengthened and moisturised.”

It is recommended it is applied in the morning and at night to dry, clean skin for best results.
