Shoppers say the jeans are such good quality they’re going back to buy more pairs
New Look is selling a pair of denim jeans that shoppers say are the ‘comfiest they’ve had in years’ and ‘most perfect high-waisted jeans ever’. New Look is a popular high street retailer that has been going for years and is known across the country as a staple for mainstream fashion and trends.
On its official website, shoppers have been leaving rave reviews for a pair of jeans they describe as the ‘comfiest’ and claim ‘go with anything’. The store’s Adalae High-Waist Wide Leg Jeans cost £35, and are ‘such good quality’, people are going back to buy multiple pairs.
There are numerous different sizes to choose from in waist width and leg length. There are 10 colour options to choose from, too. There are usually 11, but one option is currently out of stock. All other shades include: black, grey, brown, dark brown, blue, navy, light blue, bright blue, dark blue and burgundy.
In the product description, New Look says: “Completely versatile, these wide leg jeans are a wardrobe staple without a fashion expiry date. This denim essential can easily be styled for any occasion, all year round.” The Adalae High-Waist Wide Leg Jeans are 100% cotton and are machine washable.
Besides New Look, there are plenty of other retailers selling similar jeans if you’re hoping to treat yourself or update your winter wardrobe. ASOS is selling a pair of high-waist, wide-leg jeans for £40. At Marks and Spencer, shoppers can get High Waisted Wide Leg Ankle Grazer Jeans for £30. Next has some FlexiFit Stretch Pull On Wide Leg Jeans for £52.
However, it is New Look’s Adalae High-Waist Wide Leg Jeans that have been receiving masses of glowing reviews. So far, customers have awarded the jeans an average score of 4.5 stars out of five.
One shopper said: “The most perfect high-waisted jeans EVER. I honestly love these jeans so much! After trying on what felt like five thousand different pairs from other brands, these are the only ones that actually fit me perfectly. They’re super flattering and make me feel confident in my body again after having my daughter and gaining and then loosing weight, which means a lot!
“The quality is great, they’re comfy, the length is perfect… and they just sit right in all the places other jeans don’t. I’ll definitely be ordering more! They’re STUNNING.”
A second said: “The seams are so neat and give the jeans a really clean, stylish look that makes them feel more expensive than they are. They’re easy to style with anything, from a fitted top to an oversized jumper, and they make every outfit look put together. Overall, they’re a 10/10 for me — comfy, flattering, and genuinely lovely quality. Would definitely recommend.”
A third wrote: “As someone who is 5ft 3 these jeans fit perfectly in length and waist. They are so soft and are the most comfortable pair of jeans I’ve ever owned. They are not thick denim so they’re not uncomfortable when you sit down. I’d definitely get these in different colours.”
However, some people had issues with the sizing. One person said: “As someone with bigger thighs and a smaller waist these jeans unfortunately were not for me. Despite fitting my waist perfectly, they were way too tight around the thigh area so unfortunately had to return.” Another put: “These jeans are a lot wider than they appear online. I didn’t like the style enough to keep them.”
