The Duchess has been showing off Le Creuset pieces in her new Netflix series and fans think the pricey brand is worth every penny.
In her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex invites viewers into her kitchen, where she puts an extraordinary amount of effort into ‘elevating the everyday.’ Finding her peace by doing simple things well, the Duchess can be seen using her Le Creuset cookware as she whips up wings, frittatas, pasta and more.
Baking, sauteing and stirring her way through eight episodes of her homage to the good life, she is regularly seen using pieces from the French cookware brand best known for its enameled cast iron Dutch ovens. Fans know that the upscale pots and pans can be pricey, but they also understand that the enamelled cast iron is a lifetime investment.
Home cooks who would like to use Le Creuset in their own kitchens, will be delighted to hear that you don’t need an entire king’s ransom to purchase. While Le Creuset is undeniably a little on the pricey side, the cookware has an established reputation for being attainably high-quality, delicious to look at and most importantly built to last.

As the camera pans across a picture perfect Californian country kitchen, viewers get a sneak peak of her beloved white Le Creuset, proudly displayed by the oven.
In a chic white colourway, the Cast Iron Round Casserole 28cm blends perfectly with the Meghan’s old money aesthetic. A statement piece in any kitchen, the family size casserole dish is the largest of the collection and is available to buy from £369 at Fenwicks.
For cooks who don’t want to drop quite that much money in one go, there are cheaper versions to be found. The Habitat 3.3 Litre Cast Iron Casserole Dish in Cream, for example, can be snapped up for a fraction of the price, at £35 from Argos.
Over on Amazon, the Overmont Enamelled Cast Iron Round Casserole Pot looks similar and is backed up by more than 100 positive reviews. It’s also currently on sale, reduced from £55 to £51.81.
Smaller versions are also cheaper, with the 24 inch casserole dish in Meringue starting at £305, and the Cast Iron Shallow Casserole – another one used by the Duchess – is also priced at £305. A real crowd pleaser, the pricey pots have received five-star reviews from dedicated fans on Le Creuset.
One buyer said: “Absolutely love this casserole dish my food tastes amazing it looks fabulous on display in my kitchen I’ve had tons of compliments on it already…I know it’s pricey but definitely worth the investment as I think it will outlive me.”
Don’t be put off by potentially staining either. One customer added: “The enamelled cast iron is everything I’d dreamed of, but quite a few surprising delights popped up as well – I had no idea it was so easy to clean!”
One customer however, was not as impressed as they had hoped they would be. “All works good, but enamel lost shine after 6 month of usage,” they explained “It was destroyed by dishwasher. And information about it located only in manual. While text on the box declaring – dishwasher safe. So it is not safe obviously!”
Another buyer was super impressed by the quality of the brand, saying: “I was given this similar Le Creuset for a wedding present 32 years ago, this is a present for my daughter who is getting married. Mine is still in fantastic condition and used two or 3 times a week.”
