Zara McDermott recently treated herself to NEOM’s wellbeing diffuser to help her sleep at night, and shoppers have also praised it for how long it lasts and how calming it is

There’s nothing more frustrating than not being able to sleep, and after months of struggling to drift off, Zara McDermott finally decided to try out the NEOM Wellbeing Pod Luxe, £135, to see if it could improve her sleep quality. And it turns out, it did, with Zara raving about the diffuser over on Instagram.

Sharing a photo of the diffuser in action in her bedroom, Zara wrote: “After months of not being able to sleep properly I treated myself to one of these Neom Wellbeing Diffusers. I wanted one for years (not even an exaggeration) and I’m so happy I finally bought one! I got the destress essential oil blend! If you like the sound of water you’ll love this.”

The NEOM diffuser is ideal for bringing a bit of that peaceful, spa-like feel to your home, whether you have it in your bedroom like Zara, or choose to put it in your bathroom or living room. You simply fill the tank with water, add 30 drops of your go-to essential oil and choose the settings that you want and set it away.

You can choose how long to run it for, whether it’s a couple of hours or the all-day setting with the tank allowing you up to 12 hours of misting. The warm LED light also gives off a gentle glow for some ambiance and low lighting, or can be switched off to allow you to sleep at night.

It also has a breathing mode feature, to help with guided meditation. This setting sees the light gradually brighten for seven seconds before dimming for 11 seconds to guide your breathing along with it, whilst also gently releasing the soothing essential oil mist into the air to create a tranquil, peaceful setting.

Amazon shoppers have been singing the NEOM diffuser’s praises, with one saying: “Got the best deal that I have seen. This product is powerful compared to the smaller one we have. Very nice and a good brand. Can you get an alternative cheaper, yes you can. But this is NEOM and a great present.”

Another wrote: “I use this almost every day. Last a good while before it needs topped up and really fills the room with whatever scent you put in!”

Whilst a third added: “Bought as a gift for our daughter, she gets very stressed with her work load, and children. She absolutely loves it. Says she felt the calm after just a short while, and uses it everyday.”

A fourth penned: “Lasts for hours on one charge. The remote is a bonus whilst meditating. It’s safer than tea lights as it cuts out when empty. It diffuses well through out the room, and if the door is open will diffuse into the hallway and kitchen too. Easy to clean and maintain. Very ornamental and convenient. Worth every penny.”

This 350ml version is the largest of NEOM’s diffusers, but you can also get a 100ml version for £95, or the smaller Mini Diffuser for £55, which is rechargeable and doesn’t require filling with water. Elsewhere you can get the Tortoiseshell Glass Essential Oil Electric Aroma Diffuser for £49.50 from Olive Bonas which has a chic tortoiseshell covering and a selection of different coloured lights.
