Morrisons said it has launched an investigation after a shocking video appeared to show a security guard brawling with a pensioner customer
This is the shocking moment a security guard apparently pushed a pensioner into a shop window before falling to the ground.
The incident took place at a Morrisons supermarket in Neath, South Wales, after eyewitnesses claimed the old man was challenged by a security guard as he left the store. They said the alarm sounded as the man left the Morrisons with his shopping. The video showed a security guard walking over to the man, who wished to remain anonymous.
Eyewitnesses claimed the pensioner showed the guard his receipt and explained that he had also caused the alarm to sound on his way into the store.

The situation appeared to quickly escalated and another shopper, Trish Paul, caught the incident on her camera, according to WalesOnline.
This shocking recording appears to show the two getting physical and grabbing one another. The pensioner then appears to be pushed into a glass window, then the two men moved away.
Still locked together, the footage appears to show the pensioner and guard both fall to the ground. Staff from inside the Morrisons are then said to have emerged and intervened before the security guard returned inside the shop.
Morrisons said it has launched an investigation into the shocking video, that made it’s way online. A spokesperson said the chain too the safety of its customers and staff very seriously.
In a statement, Morrisons said: “We take the safety and security of our colleagues and customers very seriously and our guarding supplier is cooperating with us to investigate this urgently.”
This comes after a shocking video showed chaos at a Primark store when a security guards appeared to brawl with a young woman.
Footage appeared to show a tug-of-war between two men, wearing Hi-Viz security jackets, and several women as shoppers looked on. The security staff appeared to be trying to stop the women leaving the store in an alleged shoplifting incident.
The suspects however appeared to escape by bolting through the door at the Broadmead Primark shop, in Bristol. At the time, a Primark spokesperson told The Mirror: “The safety of our customers and colleagues is really important to us. We are aware of the incident that took place in store and we are investigating.”
