The already budget-friendly workout tracker just got even cheaper as wearers rave about its steps, heart rate, oxygen levels and energy tracking

A wearable piece of tech that allows users to keep an eye on their daily step count, exercise goals and if they’re guzzling enough water each day. Fitness watches are popular gadgets for active wearers, and have a one-up on smartwatches thanks to their much more affordable price.

‘Useful for walking, light workouts, and health insights’ are a few reasons why shoppers are snapping up the Sekonda Fitness Tracker. A cheaper than FitBit alternative that tracks calories, blood oxygen, and heart rate for £34.99 – more than half the price of the FitBit Charge 6.

Yet we’ve found another way to get the eight-sport mode fitted tracker for less, effectively cutting the price to £19.65. All thanks to money-saving site TopCashback and its lesser-known deal stacks.

The site pays shoppers a proportion of their money back when they buy a product through its links, in cashback. This is what lets new customers effectively cut the price from £34.99 (already on sale from £39.99) to below £20.

Those new to TopCashback but already Argos customers will cut the price to £19.68 after cashback. Still making it a fraction of the price compared to rival models.

The Sekonda Fitness tracker is an entry-level gadget that helps keep an eye on the wearer’s step count, activity levels and basic health features.

Sekonda shoppers who stack Argos’ sale price with TopCashback will pay £79 less than Amazon’s ongoing Fitbit Charge 6 sale price, which is currently £98.99. A superior model when it comes to advanced health metrics like EDA (which measures stress through sweat gland activity) and a polished ecosystem.

Fitness trackers like models from FitBit and Sekonda are aimed at everyday gym goers, runners and avid walkers, however, they’re not as high-tech as smartwatches. Models like the £136.99 Samsung Galaxy 7 seamlessly pair with Android phones, have a built-in GPS, and boost features to help with sleep patterns (to name just a few perks).

For the price, however, Sekonda’s Fitness Tracker proves to be a reliable model for budget-conscious wearers. “Great value for the price”, shared one Argos shopper.

Who went on to use it alongside their handset, as they said: “Pairs with my phone seamlessly via Bluetooth, and battery life is solid. Lasting up to 7days on a single charge.”

Another highlighted all its features, calling it ideal for first-time wearers. They said: “A really good starter smartwatch, maybe all you need. “Steps, sleep, heart rate, oxygen levels and energy used. Great battery life, you don’t know you’re wearing it.”

One shopper highlighted something worth noting regarding the size: “Unfortunately, the screen was visibly too large for my wrist, and I returned it without using it.” There aren’t options to pick a screen size at checkout, unlike models from Samsung.
