Sarah Fergusson’s reputation was left in tatters last year after it emerged she had continued to keep in contact with Jeffrey Epstein following his conviction in 2008
Jeffrey Epstein transferred $150,000 (£109,000) to Sarah Ferguson following a share sale, the latest Epstein Files documents have revealed.
The late paedophile wired the cash to the former Duchess of York, account transactions revealed. The JPMorgan account transaction dated to 2001 also showed Epstein’s dividends and purchases.
It also revealed Epstein made $550,000 (£401,653) in sweep account sales. The money exchange was one of several cash injections Epstein wired to Fergie.
In 2009, Fergie appeared to write to Epstein: “I urgently need £20,000 for rent today. The landlord has threatened to go to the newspapers if I don’t pay. Any brainwaves.”

The documents will heap further embarrassment on the former Duchess of York who also praised the since-convicted child sex offender as the “brother I have always wished for.” Epstein’s close relationship with members and associates of the Royal Family was made increasingly clear in the latest US Department of Justice file drop.
Emails appeared to show Fergie attempting to organise for Epstein to come to St James’s Palace for the 50th birthday bash of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, then Duke of York, in 2010. The email, sent by Andrew’s then private secretary Amanda Thirsk said: “It will be suits and cocktail dresses, and you know me, mysterious mischief, so bring your presents, your presence and your humour.”
The former Duke and Duchess of York have been humiliated by revelations in the Epstein Files. Andrew was hit by claims his paedophile pal arranged for one of his sex slaves to spend the night at the Royal Lodge.
A woman claimed to have visited Andrew’s then-home in Windsor Great Park estate, the first time an alleged encounter happened inside a royal residence. Her US-based lawyer Brad Edwards said: “We’re talking about at least one woman who was sent by Jeffrey Epstein over to Prince Andrew. And she even had, after a night with Prince Andrew, a tour of Buckingham Palace.
“Our client has suffered enough. As everyone knows, Andrew’s power and access flowed directly from his status in the Royal Family, and that power enabled the conduct at issue.” Andrew has strongly and consistently denied any wrongdoing regarding his friendship with Epstein.
Meanwhile, Fergie’s reputation was tarnished after it emerged she remained in contact with Epstein, even after he was convicted of child sex offences in 2008. The Mirror has contacted a representative for the former Duchess of York for comment.
