Rugby fan gets knocked out whilst dressed ass Princess Jasmine

A groom dressed as a princess was knocked unconscious by his best man, causing the delay of a rugby match as a result.

Martyn Disney was on a stag do with 11 of his mates to watch Newcastle Falcons play his Leicester Tiger side at Kingston Park Stadium. As a nod to his surname, he came to the match dressed as Princess Jasmine from Aladdin and was entered into the half time Falcons Flyers race.

During the event however, best mate Sam Myring knocked his legs from under him and sent him flying. He came to inside an ambulance before waking up for good in a CT scanner.

He told WalesOnline : “The last thing I remember is that we’re on the beers, having a nice chat with everybody. I did that Flying Falcon thing and my mate’s decided to tackle me just before the try line, swooped my legs and I’ve just hit my head. Bang, gone, sparko-ed.

“The next thing I know, I’m literally on a spinal board going ‘What is going on?’ I think I remember going into the scanner. I remember being discharged and having the all clear and Sam got told: ‘He must go to the hotel room, sleep this off, get rid of it’. I looked at him, he looked at me and went: “Yeah, no danger. We’re going back on it’.

“We ended up in a bar called Cosy Joe’s and the whole place erupted. All I can remember is cheering and having selfies with people.”

Speaking about his partner’s reaction to the whole ordeal, Disney said: “She sees the funny side of it now, but you can imagine at the time it’s Sam, my best man, making that phone call. Honestly, at the time he was eating humble pie. We’re all best mates again now and all good.”

“I can’t thank the medical staff enough. They were absolutely second to none. I had a good crowd around me. Dan Cole even came out shaking his head saying: ‘Yeah, that was a really bad tackle.”

Newcastle said in a statement: “Newcastle Falcons are glad to report that the Leicester Tigers supporter who received medical attention during today’s game has been given the all-clear and been released from hospital.

“Having visited Newcastle for his stag do and been tackled by his best man following the Falcons Flyer half-time race, he was given the best medical care possible and taken to hospital. We are happy to report he has had a scan and been given a clean bill of health, and is now back in his hotel with the stag party.

“The wedding is going ahead as planned, they are all in good spirits and are extremely thankful for the medical attention and well wishes they have received.”
