Crash follows tragic death of man in e-bike crash in north Manchester
A 61-year-old man who was tragically killed in a collision in north Manchester on Tuesday (December 2) has been named.
Jason Parr suffered fatal injuries after his e-bike collided with two pedestrians on Rochdale Road in Blackley at around 8.45pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene while the pedestrians were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
In a tribute released through Greater Manchester Police, Jason’s daughter Samantha paid tribute to her ‘one-of-a-kind’ dad who would be ‘missed forever. She said: “We are heartbroken and devastated by the sudden loss of our dad Jason, who was killed in a traffic accident. His absence has left a huge void in our lives, and we are struggling to come to terms with this tragedy.
“It doesn’t feel real, and the shock and pain is overwhelming. He was one of a kind, known for his humour and could make anyone laugh, he was loved by many. My dad meant the world to us and will be sadly missed forever.”
