With rain and colder temperatures only days away, Brits have been facing a major question. Is it time for the big coat to come out yet?
Shoppers will already be finding new items in stores designed to help them look good but more importantly keep warm this autumn and winter. One item that has already exploded on social media is a River Island coat that people are branding their ‘dream coat’.
There are dozens of videos flooding TikTok of the store’s ‘gorgeous’ £69 Faux Fur Short Plush Jacket. It comes in four different colours – black, brown, cream and burgundy.
The cropped fit jacket has a collared design and is covered in warm-looking faux fur that people appear to be loving online. One clip that racked up over 20,000 likes had dozens of comments praising the find.
One person said: “I NEED this jacket!” Another added: “Get me there I’m obsessed!”
A third declared: “This is the coat of dreams. I need every colour right now!” Someone else paired a string of fire emojis with: “Ready to slay the winter in this!!”
Not everyone seemed convinced though. One person wrote: “Tried this on today but the price tag scared me into putting it right back!” Another asked: “I love it but not convinced as a tall girlie it’s for me. Wanna be warm but I’d have so much on show!”
At the time of writing, the jacket was readily available in all colours and sizes online but that is all subject to availability. Similar styles are available at other major retailers.
