Princess Charlotte wore a similar dress to one of her mum Kate’s most memorable looks as she was snapped with Taylor Swift alongside her father William and older brother Georgie

Princess Charlotte appeared to emulate one of her mum’s most memorable looks as she attended Taylor Swift’s Eras tour show at Wembley.

The reigning queen of pop was pictured with Charlotte and dad William, along with her older brother Prince George. The sweet snap show Taylor and the three royals all laughing merrily in a picture that delighted many of their respective fans. The young princess wore a rose gold dress, known as a ‘Kids Sequin Party Dress,’ by retailer John Lewis, which sells it for £26. The glittering sequins were reminiscent of a Jenny Packham dress worn by the Princess of Wales in 2011.

Kate attended the ARK Gala dinner alongside husband Prince William. She also reused the dress in 2016. It isn’t the first time Charlotte and Kate have coordinated their outfits in some way. During the coronation, Kate wore a sparkling flower crown, with Charlotte wearing a similar hairband of silver and crystal. The pair also wore burgundy coats during the annual carol service last year.

At the recent celebrations for the King’s birthday, the two princesses both donned black and white. Kate wore a snow white Jenny Packham dress adorned with a pure black trim and tie at the top of the monochrome number, along with a Philip Treacy hat. British designer Packham is reportedly one of Kate’s favourite designers having dressed the Princess on numerous occasions.

Reversing the colours, Princess Charlotte wore a black pinafore with ivory trim and tie. The mum and daughter rode together in the Glass Coach carriage with Princes George and Louis. It was Kate’s first public appearance since she announced her cancer diagnosis. Before the Trooping the Colour event earlier this month, Kate said she had been “blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement” but added she is not “out of the woods yet.”

In a video, Kate said: “I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet. I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much-needed time to heal.”
