Fashion lovers can’t wait to get their hands on Primark’s take on the little black dress when the £20 style hits stores later this year

Primark’s take on the LBD is ‘the most stunning dress ever’, according to impressed shoppers. The £20 dress from an upcoming Rita Ora range will be available in all stores from the end of November, but fans got an early look at the dress on social media, and it’s safe to say it will be very popular.

@aurawardmua’s TikTok post showing off the dress, with a defined waist and gorgeous black bow, has racked up over 100,000 likes in just a few days, and wowed shoppers. “It’s giving House of CB,” praised @aurawardmua, referencing the designer brand, which offers a Black Bow Mini Dress for £159.

Shoppers were quick to agree the dress is a must-have, with one writing: “It’s giving Blair Waldorf and I need it.” A second replied: “EXCUSE ME.” Someone wrote: “That’s the most stunning dress I’ve ever seen,” and another agreed: “This is so beautiful.”

A different fan added: “I was literally like omg that’s gonna be so expensive. Then I saw it was Primark. SHOOKETH,” and a shopper commented: “Ok but that’s actually beautiful.”

Someone else thought: “This in burgundy would be insane.” A second echoed the sentiment, replying: “I WANT!! Also, this in burgundy? Would be perfect!!!” “Need this in white,” read a different response. Another shopper suggested: “I need it in red or green,” and a commenter added: “I would love this in knee length for work.”

Several shoppers also said the dress reminded them of their favourite films. “This reminds me of the dress that the actress wore in big,” read one such response. “It’s Susan’s dress from Big!” a like-minded viewer revealed. “This is giving Adventures of a babysitter vibes,” someone else thought.

Meanwhile, commenters said they’d spotted similar styles from Oh Polly, Quiz and Rare London, meaning fashion fans can expect to see the little black dress style everywhere this party season.
