Shoppers can get a new version of the viral corset dress, which has been given a springtime makeover

Primark made waves last week after it reintroduced a popular dress in a range of fresh spring colours and patterns. The budget fashion retailer’s £23 Sleeveless Corset Mini Dress caused quite a stir when it first hit the shelves last year, with thousands of shoppers falling for its corset bodice and back bow.

Some even likened the dress to something you’d find at high-end fashion label House of CB. The dress was initially available in several colours, including black, white and burgundy. But now, Primark has restocked its spring and summer collection, giving fans even more options.

The £23 Sleeveless Corset Mini Dress is now available in white, pink and a floral pattern perfect for spring. The dress ends above the knee, making it the perfect choice for a going out of an evening.

However, if you’re looking for a version of the dress that’s more suitable for a wedding or everyday wear, Primark has got you covered. It has now released a ‘midi’ style of the dress, reports Bristol Live. The added length gives it a more ‘elegant’ look that can easily be dressed up or down.

For £32, Primark customers can purchase the Paula Echevarría Corset Midi Dress in stores and order online via the store’s Click and Collect service. The midi-length dress features a square neckline and corseted bodice, much like the shorter version, and still comes complete with the ‘cute’ bow at the back.

The Paula Echevarría Corset Midi Dress is described online as a garment that exudes ‘classic sophistication’. It features a fitted, corset-style bodice, which creates a ‘flattering’ silhouette, paired with a square neckline for added ‘elegance’.

The dress falls into a flowing, gathered skirt that reaches mid-calf length, ideal for twirling at events, whether during the day or evening. For a polished look, pair it with high heels and understated accessories, or opt for a denim jacket and boots for a more casual take on the style.

The dress is available in sizes ranging from UK 6 to 22 and comes in multiple colours, including black, pale green, and a yellow and white floral pattern. The midi-length corset dresses have gained significant popularity on social media platforms. One TikTok user, @JustGeri2025, shared a video showcasing the dresses, calling them ‘beautiful’.

She said: “Girl, I just cut through Primark on my way home and look at these beautiful dresses I found. This stunning little bow detail on the back, £32, perfect for summer. I reckon you could dress them up for a wedding.”

On the same platform, Darceyhicks14 remarked: “Primark is the new House of CB.” Vickylancaster1 added: “I’m going to Rome next month and that first dress is divine.” However, Hajartiste commented: “It looks really nice but the fabric is so cheap that it ruins the dress.”

On Primark’s website, the dress’s material composition is as follows: “BODY 1-78% Viscose, 19% Polyamide, 3% Elastane, BODY 2- 94% Polyester, 6% Polyamide, LINING-87% Polyester, 13% Elastane.” As for care, it says: “Do not dry-clean; Do not tumble dry; Cool Iron; Do not bleach; Maximum Temperature 40C; Wash similar colours together; Wash Inside Out; Iron on the reverse.”
