With the festive party season fast approaching, shoppers will be looking for outfits that don’t blow their Christmas budget apart

Primark has shoppers covered with a sparkly set that’s sure to turn heads at the office Christmas party. With December just days away, people will be on the hunt for festive party outfits that look great and don’t break the bank.

Plenty are turning to the high street discount store which has some real hidden gems on its rails this winter. One particular outfit has shoppers “in love” and “ready to party”.

Primark’s Co-ord Single-Breasted Glitter Blazer costs £32 and has subtle sparkly finish that some TikTok users have branded “perfect” to don for Christmas parties. Shoppers can compete the look with the matching £16 Zip-Up Glitter Shorts which has the same subtle shimmer.

Featuring peak lapels and a single-breasted button fastening, the set balances “smart dressing and a dash of glamour”. The Primark website adds: “The all-over glitter sparkle ensures you’ll catch the light at every angle”.

People have been sharing the outfit on social media, showcasing what it really looks like on. One TikTok user (@notrobyngillespie) wrote that it was “perfect for Christmas party season”, adding “I’m obsessed!” in the comments section.

Others posted that the full set was “spectacular”. Someone asked if the glitter “gets everywhere” with shoppers vouching that you won’t leave trails of sparkles wherever you sit.

Primark has a full section on its website dedicated to Christmas party outfits, with inspiration for most occasions. The store stocks dresses as well as tops, trousers and accessories.

In other Primark news, shoppers have been swooning over a £20 corset bow dress that ‘looks more expensive’ than it seems at first glance. The dress, starting at size six and going up to size 20, is up for grabs in the store as well as online through Primark’s click and collect.

Certain stores across the UK offer this service following a trial run earlier this year, with Primark bosses previously confirming it would roll out across all shops in the UK by the end of 2025. You can browse the full list of currently participating stores here.
