People have been quick to praise the inexpensive way to add an extra layer of warmth to your winter outfits

Primark has no shortage of ‘cosy’ clothes to make the chilly winter weather a little bit more bearable. One item that’s flying out of shops quicker than staff can re-stock them is a pair of fleece-lined leggings

Instagram user @Welovethehighstreet showcased the range of colours available at their local Primark. The post featured a denim-look blue, darker black as well as a warm burgundy which the shopper branded as “the colour of the season”

They added: “I’m going back for a second pair as the burgundy are UNREAL on!” On social media, the fleece-lined tights are claimed to be the “perfect” way to stay warm and stylish this autumn.

The product description adds: “These leggings can be worn under your looser clothes as a thermal layer or styled in the place of your regular leggings all winter long!” Many people online were quick to comment on the cheap solution to staying warm this winter.

Plenty were already planning to visit their local Primark and strip the shelves. One said: “It’s already so cold this year! We need them all!”

Another added: “I love these leggings, especially the burgundy and navy. Would love even more colours!” A third wrote: “Love the colour of these!” Someone else commented: “I literally live in mine all winter long!”

A fifth shopper loved the look of the navy blue option that is designed to look like denim. They wrote: “These would be so comfy and warm and they look like normal jeans. You’d never be able to tell!”

The leggings often go down a treat at this time of year, with many TikTok and Instagram users sharing their joy last month when Primark gave a glimpse of the their return. However, not every shopper seemed pleased with their purchase.

One claimed: “Shame they bobble so much inside of the leg!” Meanwhile, another shopper said they had issues with the sizing of their find – but others were quick to offer a solution.

They said: “Got a pair of these. I’m an 18 in most things so I got XL – the WORST fit ever! Saggy baggy!”

Someone replied: “I sized down and they were perfect!” Another said: “Think you need a large”.

The full range can be looked up on Primark’s website. Select stores also provide a Click and Collect option for a hassle-free shopping experience – with a list of those currently offering the service here.
