People quickly fell in love with the cosy pyjamas that are ‘screaming Christmas’
Primark shoppers are claiming that one set of comfy pyjamas could pass for a much more expensive version this winter. Some were saying they “looked like” Ralph Lauren, but at a fraction of the cost.
The items are available separately, with the video showing the top priced at £11 and the bottoms for £12, making the complete outfit a total of £22. The tartan set, with bow detailing, was spotted in Primark by shopper Tess (@_tess_xox0), who uploaded her designer-inspired find to TikTok.
At the time of writing, the set isn’t available to buy online, meaning shoppers wanting to buy will have to head to a physical store and check if it’s in stock. It appeared to be in the usual Primark pyjamas sizing scale of XS to XXL.
Tess claimed that the Primark set is “screaming a Ralph Lauren Christmas” – but for much cheaper. There is a very similar-looking set from the designer label that would cost shoppers £119. People who opt for the Primark set could save themselves over £95 by comparison.
The designer version did feature some detailing on the chest pocket that isn’t in the Primark set, but that didn’t appear to put shoppers off. There were dozens of people who commented on the TikTok clip, claiming that they ‘need the pyjamas ahead of December.
One said: “They’re unreal!” Another wrote: “My PJ collection is already ridiculous…stop with the cuteness.”
A third put: “Omg these are perfect for Christmas!” Someone else said: “The little bows! These are so cute!”
There were a few shoppers who had issues with Primark pyjamas, though. Someone claimed: “But they shrink after washing?” Another asked if the pyjamas were made of cotton, with a shopper claiming: “They are, but [the pyjamas are] very thin.”
Primark has been praised lately, ahead of the cold winter weather, for releasing lots of “cosy and cute” pyjamas. Another set that garnered a lot of online love was this £17 set, which customers want so much’ , adding that Primark has ‘done it again’.
