The retro-style beaded design could be compared to a pricier design from another retailer
Primark is stocking a ‘statement’ mirror that’s far cheaper than a ‘lookalike’ version sold at Argos. Popular for its budget-friendly fashion and accessories, Primark’s homeware collection is often a go-to for bargain hunters. The high street giant could be offering another crowdpleaser.
Customers can purchase a £12 Bobble Arch Mirror that arguably rivals the Habitat Brown Bobble Wooden Arch Wall Mirror. However, the Argos design is more expensive, normally retailing for £90, though it is currently on sale for £59.99. As such, Primark’s offering saves shoppers over £40, rising to over £75 off when the Argos mirror is full price.
Given the price difference, the Primark mirror might appeal to shoppers who like the Habitat mirror’s style but prefer a cheaper alternative. While they’re not an exact match, both mirrors share a retro-inspired design. This is thanks to the beaded bobble border, which is available in a similar shade of brown.
Nonetheless, some shoppers might prefer the Argos version, and Primark does not list the product’s dimensions. As such, it’s not possible to compare the sizing, which could contribute to the price difference.
Primark’s product description said: “Add a statement accent to your space with this bobble arch wall mirror. Designed with an arched shape, rounded bobble frame and wood-effect finish, it’s a standout pick for bedrooms, hallways, dressing areas or living rooms.
“Hang it above a console table, chest of drawers or mantelpiece to bring depth, texture and a decorative focal point to your home.” Shoppers interested in the Primark version can order the mirror for in-store collection or check in-store availability on the retailer’s website.
Argos’ product description said: “Brighten your space and add texture in one go with this arched mirror that reflects light while bringing organic detail to your walls. The wooden frame is finished in a warm nut-brown shade and features a beaded pebble design that creates visual interest without overwhelming your decor.
“It’s wall mounted with D-ring fixings that keep it secure and stable, and it arrives fully assembled so you can hang it straight away. The arched shape works beautifully in hallways, bedrooms or living areas, making rooms feel brighter and more spacious with every glance.”
The description added: “The wooden frame is crafted with a polished beaded finish that adds depth and character to your walls. It’s designed to hang vertically only, with fixings spaced 72cm apart for balanced support. The mirror weighs 8.9kg, which gives it a solid, quality feel once it’s in place.
“By choosing this mirror, you’re supporting responsible forest management, and you’ll find it brings warmth and dimension to your home with minimal effort.” Shoppers interested in the Argos version can order the mirror for home delivery or in-store collection. Customers can also check in-store availability on the retailer’s website.
