Primark shoppers have labelled the pyjamas “comfy” and “perfect”, with some claiming they “need all the colours”
Primark is stocking a new pyjamas set that bear a striking resemblance to a designer alternative. Known for its affordable fashion and homeware, the high street giant may have just introduced a new crowd-pleaser.
The retailer’s Ribbed Wide Leg Pyjama Bottoms and matching Ribbed Pyjama Shirt look similar to a style by Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS, but at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers can snag the Primark version for £28, while the SKIMS set carries a price tag of £120 online.
The pyjamas sets are very similar, with ribbed material, lapel collar and patch pocket. The bottoms differ slightly, with the Primark version having a wider leg design and a tie waist, while the more expensive set have a slimmer leg and no tie.
The Primark pyjamas consist of the Ribbed Wide Leg Pyjama Bottoms and matching Ribbed Pyjama Shirt, which cost £14 each. The SKIMS ribbed stretch-modal jersey lounge set is priced at £120, while the Primark equivalent is available just £28, presenting shoppers with a potential saving of approximately £96 if they go for the high street alternative.
The set was shared online by @galslovehighstreet and the caption reads: “These look familiar”, while the post racked up thousands of likes and many comments. Beneath the clip, they added: “These felt soooo soft! Grabbed myself the beige pair and I love them.”
Among the many comments, one person said: “Need them both immediately”, while a second wrote: “I need all the colours.” A third shopper added: “as if I need an excuse to buy more pyjamas.”
A fourth excited person said: “Oh my I NEED these” and a fifth wrote: “How comfyyyyy do these look.” Another shopper labelled the pyjamas “the perfect PJs!!”, while one said: “Next pyjama obsession. Love the ribbed!”
